I was already getting super sick of hearing people say:
"It is what it is"
Then I heard Kenyon Martin describe the murder of Denver Bronco Darrent Williams as, "it is what it is."
Maybe that was just taken out of "contents" (unlike "context") as some like to say, but describing the murder of someone who attended your birthday party as "it is what it is" seems a bit...uh...insensitive? A tad ignorant, maybe?
I could go on about some of the characters in the NBA, but I'll just stop here.
