All Stocked Up on Crazy

Well, it was a slow day around here. I was getting a lot of work done. Then the news just came that Mikey Therrien is starting Danny Sabourin in net tonight against the Habs...in like...a game that could...like...be for 1st place in the conference!!

Note to Therrien: WHAT THE F*$&@#@#@!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

In other news, Steeler OL and largest human being on the planet Max Starks got slapped with the Transition Tag today, which will pay him a salary comparable to the Top 10 Offensive Tackles in the NFL. A guy who couldn't beat out Willie Colon from Hofstra will get paid @ $6 million/year.

Alrighty then.

Colon winning the job was an obvious mistake by the coaching staff. Starks definitely proved his worth coming in towards the end of the season to pick up the slack.. he owns a ring and is partly responsible for the longest touchdown run in Super Bowl history. There are other teams in the NFL that will gladly give him a comparable salary to his "Transition" tag. Faneca already bought his plane tix, Colon still blows, Marvel's back is fooked, and Mahan should be selling ice cream somewhere. The situation speaks for itself. Starks is an above average player and deserves at least one big paycheck year. This would help the Stillers sign him to a longer contract after the '08 season for much less a year (3-3.5mil/year).. and he won't forget to bring his lunchbox.

like Mike Tomlin, you are always the voice of reason that soothes me back to the good side.

OK...I'm back on board.
